Big changes are coming to the Jeep® line-up. In fact, for the first time ever, there is a three-row Jeep SUV. We’re looking at the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee L at Outer Banks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM and showing you how it compares to the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The biggest difference between the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee L is their size. The Jeep Grand Cherokee L is 15.1 inches longer and a couple inches wider. It’s also on a seven-inch longer wheelbase.

That extra size gives you a larger cabin with extra cargo space. In all, it gives you an extra 16.3 cubic feet of cargo space when optimizing the seat area.

Passenger Space

Naturally, with the extra size of the Jeep Grand Cherokee L, you’ll also find more passenger space. The Jeep Grand Cherokee certainly boasts a spacious cabin with comfortable seating for up to five passengers.

However, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L takes it one step further with a third row of seating, which gives you space for up to seven. In all, it increases passenger volume from 105.4 cubic feet to 159.1 cubic feet.

Interior Design

The cabin of the Jeep Grand Cherokee L isn’t just a different size, it looks different as well. It has a revamped 10.25-inch driver gauge cluster, as well as a new center console too.

It boasts a modern design too, including a stunning new 10.1-inch display, redesigned steering wheel, and new upholstery.

Of course, we think there are so many perks to both of these stunning SUVs. It truly depends on you and the space you need. We encourage you to visit our Jeep dealership in Kill Devil Hills, NC and step inside to see which SUV suits you best. We look forward to seeing you soon!
